Our learning begins and ends with FUN! Isn’t that what preschool is all about? Every week we introduce a new theme built around favorite books, activities, fairytales, and nursery rhymes. Every day includes:

We use all five senses to  learn about our fascinating world!

Children SHINE in the joy of discovering individual abilities.

Rhythm and rhyme of nursery rhymes develops reading skills! Hunting and trapping© letters is so much fun!

Painting-cutting-gluing-creating!

Singing and counting as we move like animals from room to room! Value discussions  help us learn to be a good friend

and to care about others.

We offer a progressive curriculum, which allows students to attend 2 consecutive years with new themes and activities.

Our Pre-K curriculum is not the same as our preschool curriculum.

Learning should be FUN and feel like play! We use all five senses in our learning fun EVERY DAY!

Reading color words and sight word sentences.

Writing, counting, sequencing, set recognition and simple equations.

Art, science, music and expressive movement = FUN every day!

We aren’t just getting ready for kindergarten

–we are preparing for LIFE!

Our Daily Routine

Our daily routine includes rotation to six different rooms. Students explore six different learning adventures with their classmates and their own teacher who loves them!

Through our 42 years of Sunshine Square Preschool, I have seen thousands of children find joy in their individual discoveries. It has always been my goal to make learning FUN! My life work is planning and preparing creative classroom activities enhancing early childhood experiences into fun learning adventures. Engaging all 5 senses in the learning process is an essential part of early childhood education – – AND IT IS SO MUCH FUN!
